I am sat in my car with the rain beating down waiting for the pub to open. Not for a drink but to take some photos for the Exmoor Magazine food section.
I realise now that I have forgotten my flash and Naomi mentioned something about this place not having electricity, lucky I have my torch maybe.
Landlord just arrived.

And now for a spot of lunch. An excellent pint of Dark Horse and a beef and cheese ploughmans.
And that was very very good. If you are ever out this way you really should stop by the Poltimore Arms for lunch.
I love being freelance as I'm never really sure what's coming next and it pushes me to move outside my comfort zone – an essential in ensuring you never grow stagnant in your work.

It’s a great pub out in the middle of no-where. Good beer and food. But a good drive from home so just the one beer at lunchtime. But yes, getting older, it’s real ale too!
